COMPOSITION:
PER DOSE (2 ML):
Clostridium chauvoei anaculture: 100% protection in control animals; Clostridium
sordellianaculture: 100% protection in control animals; Clostridium perfringens
ß toxoid (type B, C and D): ≥ 10 IU of β-antitoxin/ml of serum; Clostridium
perfringens ε toxoid (type B, C and D): ≥ 5 IU of ε-antitoxin/ml of serum;
Clostridium noyvi α toxoid (type B) ≥ 3.5 IU of α-antitoxin/ml of serum;Clostridium
septicum α toxoid: ≥ 2.5 IU of α-antitoxin/ml of serum. Adjuvant.
INDICATIONS:
Adult Sheep and Goats: To prevent enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney disease), sudden
death, blackleg and necrotic hepatitis.
Lambs and Kids: To prevent dysentery, haemorrhagic enteritis, pulpy kidney
disease and blackleg.
Cattle: To prevent enterotoxaemia, sudden death, blackleg, black disease and
necrotic hepatitis.
SIDE EFFECTS:
• A sporadic anaphylactic reaction may appear in some sensitive animals. In such
a case administer an antihistaminic.
ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:
Subcutaneous.
• Administer the vaccine at a room temperature between +15 and +25 ºC.
• Shake before and during administration.
DOSAGE:
Sheep and Goats: 2 ml/adult animal; and 1 ml/young animal.
Cattle: 4 ml/animal.
• Generally, the following vaccination programme is recommended:
First vaccination: Vaccinate and revaccinate within an interval of 20 to 25 days.
Booster vaccination: Administer one dose every 12 months. In areas where pulpy
kidney disease is prevalent, vaccinate every 6 months (spring and autumn).
• Lambs and kids can be vaccinated a few days after birth.
